Art For Business logo
'Art For Buisness' is a Damascus based consultancy. They specialise in branding and corporate design. ¶ The design of the logo aims to communicate the corporate values of 'Art For Buisness': reliability, expertise and creativity. The letters are custom designs. ¶ Coming from typeface design I decided to provide two versions of the logo, following the typographic concept of 'optical masters'. Given the nature of this particular design I found that the regular logo does not work very well in small sizes. The subtle details of the calligraphic flourishes were lost. Yet, in big sizes I wanted to preserve the elegant fine lines. Accordingly I developed two versions: one with delicate hairlines and one with sturdier strokes to compensate for the loss of detail in small sizes.
